I usually just have the standard "box cut" where my hair goes to one length. I want to get maybe some side bangs and some long layers. What is everyone take on this? I don't want my hair to frizz out even more if I wear it naturally. I want to be able to wear it naturally from the shower or curled or straight and have it look good. Thank you!

yess...you go and do get layers...even with thick hair. I had the same problem..just ask them to do layers and razor it out a bit...its a wonderful finish.

layers with not make it look so poofy, and if you straighten it with a ceramic straightener then it wont frizz.
before your hair is completely dry though, make sure you put a straightening serum or softening serum in.

well it would probably look good if you had it straightened it and had layers, and some other people like me would have to blow dry it because if i don't, (if i sleep with it wet, then it would be very wavy and i can't straighten it very well,also it would stick out in places) well i hope you found this informational,bye!

do you straighten your hair? if you do go for it i have wavy frizzy hair %26amp; i got layers-NOT GOOD! it looked so bad i had to straighten my hair %26amp; blow dry it and it took forever! at least an hour and a half every single day!

you should get a chemically straighting perm before layering your hair.
It costs a lot of money if you want to do it at the salon,but if you buy a relaxer then you'll get it cheaper.
