How do you curl thick and layered hair?

any suggestions on how to curl thick and layered hair? my hair is naturally straight and whenever i curl my hair, the curls usually end up really curly and poofy on the bottom and straight on top. also, are there any recommended curling irons i should look for? thanks for any help!

How do you curl thick and layered hair?

I've had the exact same problem for years! A few weeks ago I used my friends striaghteners - GHDs with a curved edge. You twist them round as you pull them through your hair and you get a natural curl, they're amazing! The ceramic plates meant it only took me about 10 mins and my hair still had a wave in it the next morning. They're on my christmas list!

Hair rollers

But I would recommend getting a shampoo and roller set at a salon and ask the stylist to give you instructions on setting lotions to use , size and type of rollers to use to acheive the results that you desire
