I think it would look cute in black hair, yes it would cause my aunt has layered hair with side bangs and its almost black, so i think itll look cute but before you do it try and picture what it would look like and discuss it with your hairdresser and if you like it keep it, or if you dont just try and grow it back

Only if you plan to straighten it. That style is best suited for straight hair; if it curls are the bottom, it'll look like some of the layers are shorter than the others when they are not.
