Ok I have been to three different people now and I told all of them to layer my hair....but they never do. what do u have to tell them to layer my hair? any help accepted!

tell them to razor cut it. it makes the layers more noticable. and also tell them where you want them to start at (chin, shoulders, etc.) and how much you want (a little, a lot) and try to bring a picture that always helps. good luck

um...it's pretty standard, they should know what you mean. Your best bet is to find a picture that you like and show them that first so they have an idea. Good luck!

what kind of hair do you have? plus u might just have to go to a salon they HAVE to do it if they like it or not. And it helps if u flip it or curl and moose it.

Well, sometimes if your hair is too thick even when they do layer it you can't really tell. Ask them for chunky layers and/or to thin your hair some. They had to thin a ton of my hair before the layers could actually show up because of how thick my hair is.

maybe tell the hairdresser your situation, be like Oh I've asked 3 people to layer and they won't. Can you? :-) i sure it'll work out.

You might have fine hair and that's why they wont cut it that way

If your wanting layers from the top to bottom its called a shag cut. They were probably giving you long layers. Hope this helps.

The easiest way to get your hair layered is to get you hair wet, bend over and in a straight line trim your hair, you hair will look really good and layered.I've done it before and it came out really good and easy.

i have had many an argument with a hair dresser. let them know what u want (with tonnes of details) before u get it washed. DO not under any circumstances let them put the bib on you before u explain. point with your hands and fingers lift up pieces of specific hair. be like could u trim it to here, and put some feathery layers from here down, if they start cutting and pick up the blowdryer/product/straightening iron and its not what u want, that is the time to tell them to put that down pick up the scissors and do what u asked for. BE assertive tell them what u want, dont use words like i think, or i might wanna get some, or maybe - - - - would be nice. remember never be intimidated by Ur hairdresser, because u are the one with the hair and u have the picture in your mind (or hand) of how u want it to look, its the hairdressers job to do what u tell them 2. if you dont like it dont tip them (that really the only way they make money. Tell them u dont like it if u dont, dont be like o i guess its Kinna OK.
