gather the hair that falls out (when its in a pony tail) and clip it in the back with a tiny clip.

Try putting you pony tail in a little lower. Or use a little clip. But I think a messy pony tail is a little sexy and playful!

I have an idea! You can make the rest of your layered hair into a puff. I have layered hair and always do that and it looks great! You just need bobbypins, and gel. Put ur layered hair up to u forehead and make a puff! This is what i do.
