What is the best way to curl long layered hair?

I have long relatively straight hair that i usually just straighten. I want to find a way that doesnt take forever to curl my hair. How can i do this and keep it curly and bouncy all day? Please help! Thanks in advance!!!

What is the best way to curl long layered hair?

Use your curling iron to make ringlet curls. It doesn't that long, trust me because I have long layered hair that reaches down to my rear end. If you use a Sprunch Spray like the one Aussie makes while you are curling the individual pieces, then use a pick or wide tooth comb, or even use your fingers to break up the ringlet. Finish off with a light spritz of Sprunch Spray, and you will be good to go all day. Make sure not to touch your hair throughout the day though, because that will lead to frizzing and flatness... good luck, happy curling.

P.S. make sure to curl your hair after a break in washing it. Freshly washed hair will not hold the curl as well.

What is the best way to curl long layered hair?

large velcro rollers..they work!

What is the best way to curl long layered hair?

good question...there is a special shampoo and if u go to a stylist place and ask them about your hair they will tell u...

What is the best way to curl long layered hair?

curling iron and lots of hair spray

What is the best way to curl long layered hair?

i have the same!

just scrunch your hair after u get out of the shower using a little bit of mousse while using a blow dryer on low setting

then once its dry pin up the top layers and use a curling iron for the underneath layers

unpin the top and do the same

use a little hairspray if needed

it works for me and itll work for u!!

What is the best way to curl long layered hair?

Ok well from what I have discovered, is that anything OTHER than a curling wand takes way too many hours. Sounds simple..but to me it really is the best way..and put a holding serum in your hair before you curl it (was advised by a hairdresser) and ofcourse..spray the S**t out of them with hairspray afterwards. :)

How to get this layered hair?

I really want layers like Emily Osment's here:

http://i102.photobucket.com/albums/m95/K...

But I want a clear picture. Can anyone help me?

The episode is called "Bye Bye Ball" from Hannah Montana.

And what are some cheap but really good products to make my hair soft, silky, %26amp; straight like her's?

I have thick, stubborn, Asian hair (that's straight but has natural dents) so products have to be REALLY good! WEBSITE LINKS WILL HELP!!

IF YOU HAVE NOTHING NICE TO SAY DON'T EVEN MENTION IT!

How to get this layered hair?

Hi, You could get the hair stylist to thin out your hair and put long layers in your hair.. There is also a shampoo and conditioner call Sleek Look. Its only available in salons. I think its a matrix product. It smells aw some and makes your hair silky. You will really like it.

How to get this layered hair?

Just ask your hairdresser for long layers .

Thats how my hair is like too.

I do.

me!

i do too

Who thinks layered hair looks better on brunettes then on blonds?

depends who the blond or brunnette is

Who thinks layered hair looks better on brunettes then on blonds?

Um...that question doesn't make sense. Layers look good on thick, wavy or curly hair. Straight, stringy hair of any color looks better either short and choppy or long and all-one-length.

Who thinks layered hair looks better on brunettes then on blonds?

blondes because you can see the difference in textures

Who thinks layered hair looks better on brunettes then on blonds?

well i like brunettes their cute and i for the most part don't like blondes but if you give me a picture i will give you a honest opinion

I'd like to flip my layered hair...?

I want to find time to flip my hair with my curling iron. It's a 3'4 or something like that, i can't buy another one because i don't have moneeeeeeey. I'm 14 and i'd like to find time to flip my hair like 2 times every week. I'm scared that i would be late for school. My hair is a little past my shoulders and it's layered. After i flipped my layers can i put gel on it so it would hold? How long do you think it would take me? Because i have fairly straight hair and it's not thick.

I'd like to flip my layered hair...?

Flip it flip it ya ya a flip it

I'd like to flip my layered hair...?

you can flip out hair with a straignther, and no use a flex hold hairspray to keep the flip at the end of your hair. it should only take about 10 minutes if your ontop of it, if you take layers of your hair at a time and do piece by piece if could take you 20 minutes tops. I miself have flipped hair, ill show you some pics for fun.

I'd like to flip my layered hair...?

It shouldn't take you that long. Just remember, smaller sections curl faster. The thicker you make it around the iron, the longer it's gonna take. You could also try throwing some hairspray in it beforehand, and letting it dry while you get ready, then curl it. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT spray your hair while it's on the iron. It'll only make it stick to the iron and cause breakage.

I'd like to flip my layered hair...?

only flip the top part of your hair. then you take the bottom half of your hair and you leave it straight. if you want to keep your curls up i suggest that right after you get done curling that one part you emedietly put hair spray on only that part. then the curls will stay. this should only take from 10 to 15 minutes. tops would be 20 but that's only if it's your first time. trust me only doing half looks adorable. because my sis does it.

I just got my hair cut in a layered style, but every time I wash my hair, it gets wavy, how can I pr

I'm an asian with thick, layered hair, that's naturally straight. How can I prevent my hair from getting wavy after washing it, other than straightening it? I'm not allowed to straighten my hair because my mom says it'll dry out my hair.

Is there any other way to I can get it straight without using a flat iron?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

I just got my hair cut in a layered style, but every time I wash my hair, it gets wavy, how can I prevent this

try using a straightening balm while it is towel dried - then blow-dry in small sections - use a paddle brush to smooth down as you blow dry - apply serum afterward to avoid fly-aways

I just got my hair cut in a layered style, but every time I wash my hair, it gets wavy, how can I prevent this

blow-dry it then flat-iron all of your hair!!!

I just got my hair cut in a layered style, but every time I wash my hair, it gets wavy, how can I prevent this

U could style it with blower. But do choose a with ionzer hair dryer. it wont damage ur hair.

I just got my hair cut in a layered style, but every time I wash my hair, it gets wavy, how can I prevent this

If you have naturally wavy hair, the only way to get it truly straight is to flat iron it. However, you can also try usiing straightening products to relax the waves... Sleek Look by Matrix is a good line. I would use the shamp/cond and their straightening balm.

I just got my hair cut in a layered style, but every time I wash my hair, it gets wavy, how can I prevent this

Use gel or mousse, use a big round brush on sectioned hair and blow dry.

Don't use an iron it will flatten your hair and you won't have any body to it.

Cute hair do's for medium length, layered hair?

strawberry-blonde

normal hair (not thick, not really fine)

medium length (just past shoulders)

very layered

bangs that come just past eyes

naturally semi-wavy

Sometimes I scrunch my hair and sometimes I straighten it or just pull it back in a ponytail. But I want to look extra-cute tomorrow (the last day of school before break). Any ideas? btw, it's supposed to rain tomorrow, so something that'll hold for 8 hours! Thanks!

xoxo

Cute hair do's for medium length, layered hair?

go to http://divavillage.com/ and then go to hair; you'll find loads of different hairdo's.

Cute hair do's for medium length, layered hair?

First straighten most hair-then you could curl some of your medium length hairs (not the long layers or the shortest) evenly spaced around your head. Then it will be a mix of straight hair and curled. Make sure you make an odd number of curls because even numbers for some reason don't look good.

Should i get layered hair like Bill Kaulitz?

Okay, so i have long thick hair with side-swept bangs. it's about 5 inches longer than shoulder length. its black and it's got dents in it from where ive tied it up wayyy too tight. i know you're thinking, how does hair get dents? but anyways, its REALLY REALLY thick. and i'm thinking of getting it cut like Bill Kaulitz from the band Tokio Hotel, you know, black and layered with white streaks. if you dont know who he is, go search him up. and i just want to know if it would work on my hair. and before i died it black i had red streks through my bangs and now they're showing up again. Please help me!!

Should i get layered hair like Bill Kaulitz?

I agree with the dude on top of me. Your hair would definitely be great with Bill's layers. His hair was originally a bit on the thick side like toms and so he layered it to let it have a thinner look. two thumbs wayy up from me. DO IT! ^^ Oh and if you want to have his amazing gravity-defining hair then uhh that would be fine too it does work. I saw this one chick with his hair at the concert. Really awesome. =)

Should i get layered hair like Bill Kaulitz?

i think it would definitely work (; the whole lion look may not hold up as well, depending on how cooperate your hair is and what kind of hair products you use, but i'm pretty sure having thick hair will help. the only thing i'd suggest is don't get the highlights as white as his. bill has gorgeous layers that should look good on anyone xD

How to get layered hair?

I was wondering if you were to make your own hair layered how would you do it? I know you use a razor but which direction and way would you cut your hair, and do you have to wet your hair before you do it? I don't want to go to a salon

How to get layered hair?

i do my friends and my hair all the time. all you have to do is take a shower and wash your hair, and brush it, then run a pair of scisiors through out certian parts about 3 inch sections and be sure to rember your hair shrinks up after its dried so cut it a little longer too. i also die hair too.

oh and btw make sure its all even, i usualy have a friend help me with the back.

How to get layered hair?

trust me when you do it yourself it looks horrible. I would suggest if you ABSOLUTELY won't go to a salon, then get a friend to help you or something. But a salon is deffinatly the best answer.

How to get layered hair?

How pathetic, a hair cut does not cost much. Just go to the 'salon' (hairdressers) and stop been such a tight wod.

If you atempt to do it yourself, you will end up looking like a wolly as you wont be able to do it properly.

What are you to shy to go and get a hair cut?

How to get layered hair?

your not suppose to use a razor.

go to a salon.

Thinner, more layered hair?

the hair i have is really, really thick. it also doesn't stay straight even if i blowdry and flat-iron the hell out of it, i hate it so much. unfortunately the only word i can think of to describe the hair i want is "scene"... i want it to be layered, with lots of sidebangs, but thinner. any suggestions on how i can get it the way i want it? :/

Thinner, more layered hair?

i think this is the kind of hair you're describing:

http://www.hairuwear.com/ProdImages/Laye...

or something like this?

http://bangs.hairresources.net/Longangle...

i think these hairstlyes are really pretty %26amp;%26amp; my hair is layered too :D

Thinner, more layered hair?

I had the same problem -- my suggestion is to go layery. maybe like a bob? Longer in front then shorter in back. This way it will short and out of your way!

Texturizing layered hair?

Hey all, i have a long, layered hair cut but i can'y quite get the amount of texture/depth i want.

Any products/techniques you recommend for a peiced look?

Texturizing layered hair?

Use K-pak (something like that) to restore your hair. It works amazing. I have the same hair as you.

Texturizing layered hair?

it's obvious that for your texture problem you need to ask a professional hair stylistwhat to do and for depth you need to put volumizing mousse in your hair!!!!!!!!!

Is layered hair in style?

sure but only if it matches ur face

Is layered hair in style?

Wearing layered hair?

I have black, straight (sort of wavy) layered hair that is about 2 inches past my shoulder. How can I wear it down (no ponytail) in a simple way? Would a headband look good? Clips? plz be detailed

(pictures if possible are appreciated)

Thanks

Wearing layered hair?

i think you could do like beachy curls, or just plain curls like this...

http://www.glamourhair.com/images/pophai...

or something like this with the bangs up

http://img2.timeinc.net/people/i/2007/qu...

and maybe a headband would look good, you could try it but i think either your hair real straight or wavy/curly would look good.

Wearing layered hair?

Have it down, and just line in a side partin.

Perfection.

Wearing layered hair?

You can try taking the front and pinning it up. That always looks good.

Wearing layered hair?

a clip on 1 sized ??

or in a head band black, silver or white ??

or curl it ??

Wearing layered hair?

A head band with some bangs would look good.

I would also suggest wearing 2 low ponytails. Try curling them for a more gurly look.

It would also look good half up, half down with a pretty clip.

Hope this helped =)

Wearing layered hair?

this hair style is great use a flat iron and curve with it, the flat iron is your choice!

Really thick layered hair, how can I get it straight and not so big??

I used to have long hair swept back into a pony tail for years and recently I had my hair cut to shoulder length and layered. It looked fab in the hairdressers and now I'm back home and 2 weeks later I can't make it look anything like it looked at the hairdressers! I try to blow dry it straight and then straighten it with straightners but for some reason it just volumizes and ends up looking like I have had an electric shock! Help!!

Really thick layered hair, how can I get it straight and not so big??

Good straighteners should do the trick, but you also need to use a straightening product which will both protect your hair and stop it going frizzy/fluffy which would make it look bigger. Next time you have it cut make sure there aren't too many of the shorter layers as those are the ones that make it look bigger (or they do with my hair). Good luck!

Really thick layered hair, how can I get it straight and not so big??

try having it cut in a style and thinned a bit.

Really thick layered hair, how can I get it straight and not so big??

wear a helmet during the night.

Really thick layered hair, how can I get it straight and not so big??

I have this problem, you may need hotter straighteners. My straighteners are rubbish and do exactly the same as yours. My hairdresser told me its because they don't get hot enough. She uses GHD ones (mine are Babyliss).

Ooh forgot to mention, I always use a defrizz solution but this still doesn't help with my straighteners...

Really thick layered hair, how can I get it straight and not so big??

swimming hat

Really thick layered hair, how can I get it straight and not so big??

I had hair like yours, i now have lovely hair, because i use a hair straightener!!

You should try it some time.

Really thick layered hair, how can I get it straight and not so big??

I hope this could be of some help to you.............

Really thick layered hair, how can I get it straight and not so big??

u can go back to your stylist and tell them to thin you hair for you or use defrizzing styling products when straighting your hair it should get rid of the volume.

Really thick layered hair, how can I get it straight and not so big??

try using avon heat spray(this helps to protect your hair), then brushing hair onto oposite side when drying. When you have done this take SMALL sections of hair and run straighteners through, once very quickly then 2nd time a little slower applying a little pressure, but don't take to long as some can sing your hair, you could also use the avon heat spray before you put straigheners through hair(I use remengton straigteners) I hope this helps.

Really thick layered hair, how can I get it straight and not so big??

go and try hair rebonding to straighten it..then chop them with some layered style..they lessen the volume v the right cut..try to use some stronghold gels and creams to weigh it down

Really thick layered hair, how can I get it straight and not so big??

rebonding yr hair should do ther trick... it's kinda like straightening that lasts from 6-12mths... my sis has hair like yrs, and ppl used to call her aslan from the chronicles of narnia... she rebonds her hair every year.... it's a 3rd time and her hair now is 'normal'

neway, do not cut yr hair in layers! it'll make yr hair at the tips all frizzy... my frens all agree with me too!

Really thick layered hair, how can I get it straight and not so big??

get an afro then you wont have to worry.

Really thick layered hair, how can I get it straight and not so big??

try using super skinny serum by Paul Mitchell and a flat iron, that should do the trick.

Really thick layered hair, how can I get it straight and not so big??

Hmm, sometimes your hair is just parched after all of that straightening and blow-drying. Deep condition once a week and make sure that you always use a leave-in treatment after shampooing and conditioning. Taking supplements like silica and eating things rich in Omega-3 and Omega-6 (like hemp seed, nuts, and fish) will give your a hair, nails, and skin a silkier feel. If after all of this your hair is still freaking out, you might want to get it thinned out a little. I hope this was helpful.

Is layered hair with side bangs still in style?

Is layered hair with side bangs still in style?

I am 13, and at the school I go to everyone has layered hair with sidebangs. It looks really good on them. So it should look good on you.

Shoulder lengeth layered hair, how to do it for homecoming?

my hair will not curl,--ive had three perms they havent lasted anylong then 3 days-- my hair is blond right above the shoulder and very layered. i cant put gel or anything in it because it gets very greesy and grossi have no watch witch shampoos i use also, i dont know how i should do it for homecoming, suggestions?

Shoulder lengeth layered hair, how to do it for homecoming?

well your hairstyle sounds kinda cute.

im probally not gonna help much but maybe if u find a cute sparkley clip to match your dress pull a little bit on one side and clip it.

if u have side bangs let them hang down a little bit cause that always looks good.

hope u find soemthing that works :D

Shoulder lengeth layered hair, how to do it for homecoming?

find a cute halfup half down hairstyle and ask your hairstylist to do it

Shoulder lengeth layered hair, how to do it for homecoming?

I would just get it professionally done at a salon. Thats what I'm doing. The stylist should know what she/he is doing and can do something cute with your hair.

Shoulder lengeth layered hair, how to do it for homecoming?

i think instead of curls you could do like "flips" up

like.. hard to explain

allow me to attach some pictures :)

these are formal hairstyles: http://www.beautyriot.com/category.php?i...

any of these are for short hair:

http://www.beautyriot.com/category.php?i...

i like this one (similar to jessica simpson's but this is kate bosworth):

http://www.beautyriot.com/article.php?id...

it's really simple though

best bet is just to pin something (like a flower) in your hair

or just play around with bobby pins

or just do a pomp on your hair (like hil duf and gwen stefani)

also go to your hairstyle

if you get a perm it will still stay in if you did it the day before

or just ask them to make sure it stays in for the whole night

homecoming is so overrated.

How to heal frizz on LAYERED HAIR?

I have alot of layers. My hair is similar to a mullet, only prolly less layery. I have multiple layers from hair over the ears up until the end of my hair, which is like 5 inches past shoulders.

Well, the ends of my hair are frizzy. Since I have millions of ends now, because of layers, you can see the frizz all over my hair .__.

What products do I use to heal frizz? Do I go to a parlor to cut out frizzy ends or something? WHAT DO I DO!

How to heal frizz on LAYERED HAIR?

Blow drying and hot irons will eventually damage your hair and make it frizzy. Try using a product that is designed to protect from heat. There is also a smoothing serum from Big sexy hair that works great! You should be getting your hair trimmed every 6 weeks to 3 months at the latest. Even If you are trying to grow out your hair it is important for the health of your hair. If you wait to long for a trim it just breaks off and splits anyway and it will seem like its not growing as fast.

How to heal frizz on LAYERED HAIR?

De-frizer. I have layered hair, and it gets frizzy a lot. I'm not big on product, but in a time of frizz, you have to opt.

I have a few tips for you. First, get a trim. This will get rid of you split ends, and maybe your frizz. Also, when browsing hair products, choice the cleanest, puriest ones around. Chemical products dry out your hair, which can cause frizz. I use Aveda, which is made with plant extract. Its very good for your hair and styles it well.

Try washing your hair at night, and then putting it in a loss ponytail for bed. If this is uncomfortable for you, then try putting the pony tail on top of your head. Unless you sleep on your head (haha), then you won't be able to feel the pony tail. When tying your hair up, use the thickest hair elastics you can find. These will back it easier for you to take your hair out in the morning, and it won't get tangled/matted in your hair! Good luck!

How to heal frizz on LAYERED HAIR?

for layered hair, use leave-in conditioner so hair doesnt dry up as fast, as far as specific products go, Ive got really wavy-frizzy hair (maybe similar to layered?) and I always use pantene /blonde/ expressions and MATRIX conditioner.

to stop frizzy ends, either use hairspray from Bed Head or MATRIX conditioning hair tonic --always works for me

Real Hair Solutions for Frizzy Hair

http://geebal.blogspot.com/2007/11/frizz...

How to heal frizz on LAYERED HAIR?

I have really frizzy, puffy hair. Here's what i do. I use Pantene Pro-V Restoratives Frizz Control Shampoo and Conditioner. It really works for me and tones down the frizz. After that I straighten my hair with a flat iron with V05 miracle mist. You probably don't have to straighten your hair though (mine is just an afro waiting to happen).

I would TRIM (not cut...i learned that the hard way) the ends of your hair a little and use some leave in conditioner sometimes, that would help but make sure that you don't have too much product buildup. Don't use shampoo so much, your hair is usually clean and it doesn't need the harshness of shampoo, conditioner is what it really needs.

Leave your conditioner for at least 3 minutes as you shower, it will help your hair. Since frizz is caused by split ends, thats what you need to work on. I wouldn't use any Frizz Serums since they sometimes have the effect of making your hair greasy.

Here are some tips for stopping Frizzy Hair:

- Do not wash your hair everyday. It devoid your hair of natural oil and dries them up and hair getting dry is initial step of hair frizz. Go for deep moistening treatment once a week to moisten your hair.

- Always have cold water shower. It makes hair silkier and softer. Hot water shower means inviting hair frizz. At least use warm water or take a cold rinse at the end of your shower.

- Do not comb your hair when wet. Use hair pick or wide toothed comb during emergencies.

- Take special care of your hair while using hair dryers. Do it systematically. Divide your hair in sections and then use the dryer section wise.

- After bath, be gentle with use of towel on your hair.

Some natural remedies for removing frizz:

-Washing hair with vinegar balances pH level of the hair. (pH levels can really affect your hair)

- Natural veg. glycerin can be added to gel or mousse to make hair soft.

- Applying mixture of egg and olive oil 2 hrs before shampooing also help eliminating frizz.

Some other tips are to try to use products with natural ingredients to avoid product buildup, or rinse your hair VERY well so you don't have any product buildup left.

I really covet the long, loose, wavy layered hair that Jessica has. What kind of a cut should I ask for at the salon? I've asked for this before and the hairdressers never seem to "get" it.

Long layered hair like Jessica Simpson?

They're called extensions. Her hair is fake. Just ask for long layers. If they don't know what you're talking about you should probably find a new salon.

Long layered hair like Jessica Simpson?

you realize that is not all of her real hair... take a photo of her and show them this how you want it.. Be prepared to go to a top notch salon and pay big $...

Long layered hair like Jessica Simpson?

Take in a picture of what you like and see if they can do it.It might not come out exact, but if he/she is a good stylist, it should work out.

Long layered hair like Jessica Simpson?

O YEA JESSICA SIMSON HAS OUT A WHOLE LINE OF HAIR UMM YOU ORDER THEM @ ESPECIALLYYOURS.COM

Long layered hair like Jessica Simpson?

Well, that hair that Jessica Simpson has is not all real. She wears extensions a lot of the time giving the illusion of long, wavy hair. She does have own line of extensions which are synthetic hair, but are quite expensive.

Long layered hair like Jessica Simpson?

its called fake hair...hair extensions how long is your hair? i am a hairdresser and ill tell you exactly what to do i have the same style... email me and i email you the process

Long layered hair like Jessica Simpson?

Jessica has hair extensions in here hair. I am a stylist and I am surprised that your stylist can not cut it that way for you...... it is a regular layered cut with the layers not too deep and it is curled very loosely with a large barreled curling iron............ make a consultation with the stylist before you actually get the cut........... better safe then sorry.............. good luck

Long layered hair like Jessica Simpson?

Jessica Simpson's hair is fake. But when you get your hair cut, go to a professional. Tell them that you want long layers. Also bring them a picture of Jessica Simpson's hair the way you want it.

Trying to figure out what this layered hair cut is called?

I see a lot of girls in their 20's with this certain type of haircut, and I'm not sure what it's called, and I can't find ANY pictures so that I can get it done. Usually the hair is pretty long, and it looks layered, but the layers aren't blunt. They're really quite wispy looking and the hair gets thinner and tapers toward the bottom. When I ask for layers, they're always kinda thick and my hair is straight across and thick at the bottom. To be honest, I see a lot of this tapered look in manga's. Does anyone know what it's called, or have a link to pictures of it? Thanks!

Trying to figure out what this layered hair cut is called?

Unfortunately, haircut names are often unreliable,as one layering technique can have various names. It's hard to say without seeing you, but it sounds like when your hairstylist layers your hair she pulls all of your hair straight up above your head to cut your layers, this would maintain more fullness in longer hair. If you are wanting a lighter wispier look at the bottom, more bulk has to be removed. This would be done by cutting the long layer in the top, but instead of bringing the rest of the hair up to meet those layers (which would be like a 90 degree angle, if my math memory serves me correctly), the hair should be brought out at a 180 degree angle (straight out from the head) and blended from top layer to bottom length at this angle all the way around the head. This will definitely give a lighter, wispier look. One of the hardest things to do is to write down how to do a haircut, you can take this solution to your stylist and see if she understands what I'm saying... OR if all else fails, the next time you see someone with the haircut you are looking for, stop her and ask who does it, she will be flattered, I promise! Good luck, hope this helped.

Trying to figure out what this layered hair cut is called?

You sound like you're describing 'choppy' layers cut with a razor.

http://www.beautyhobby.com/wp-content/up...

Trying to figure out what this layered hair cut is called?

if your gonna ask the hair stylist to do it you should just descrbie what it looks like. You could tell them you would like it layed and kindof whispy. or you could show then a pic of that hair style.

Trying to figure out what this layered hair cut is called?

that's kind of a shag you are describing. I know the perfect website, I had the same q as you a while back. it's in japanese, but it's great.

Trying to figure out what this layered hair cut is called?

Sounds like it Mayyyy be what someone I know has.

Either way, you wanna be REALLY careful about who does it because many people can't and have no idea what they're doing. It took forever to get it right.

http://i14.tinypic.com/6svpy8m.jpg

Maybe what you're looking for??

If so, this girl has her hair thinned. And I've heard it called a billion things. But whenever she brings the most recent name to the next stylist, they give her something different.

If not, sorry.

I have med. long layered hair w/long bangs. I can't do a thing w/it. It takes so long to use cu

and it looks terrible if it is just air dried. It's pretty fine with slight body to it. I see the girls on TV (and I know they have stylist) but there hair looks so simple.....I don't get what I do wrong. I am letting my bangs grow back out.

I have med. long layered hair w/long bangs. I can't do a thing w/it. It takes so long to use curl iron.....

Straightening your hair will not look good because of the layers. You need to get a large round brush (I like mine that has a ceramic core) and blowdry your hair with that. It will give your hair lots of body and will make your layers work for you! Sally's has a lot of round brushes to choose from and they can help you find the best one. I would also recommend talking with your stylist for tips on how to use it if you never have before! Good luck!

I have med. long layered hair w/long bangs. I can't do a thing w/it. It takes so long to use curl iron.....

Just try to straighten it and see what it will do. Also, you can go into a salon, and just ask them if they can show you a few different things you could do with your hair.

Do guys like shoulder length, layered hair?

it just seems like only the girls with long hair can get bf's in my school. and my hair is soooooo thin i cant have it much longer than that without it looking stringy fifteen minutes ofter i brushed it. do guys like this length? and wut impresses guys most about a girl? i dont want 'depends on the guy' answers. i want your personal opinion please. and thank anyone who ansers in advance since i cant reply to the comments.

Do guys like shoulder length, layered hair?

The shorter the hair, the more attractive the girl.

Or to put it another way, very attractive people look great with short or shoulder length hair. Short hair accentuates the other features. Long hair hides them.

What is most attractive is the personality. Warm and friendly is very attractive.

Men are visual creatures. We are attracted to pretty faces and nice body shapes. Tall women can be stunning if the person is also beautiful. Tallness is another one of those factors that accentuates both the nice and unattractive features.

I disagree with Noner. Look at this:

http://www.short-hairstyles.com/short/s1...

Short hair accentuates those eyes and cheeks. You don't really need to have short hair to have the effect of short hair. Raising the hair gives the same effect.

One other thing, your avatar shows eyewear. Spectacles hide your eyes and face. If you have beautiful eyes, wear contacts.

Do guys like shoulder length, layered hair?

Oh my.

My hair is very thin too.

But what I have done is that I have small layers.

And I part my hair on the left side, so my bangs swing to the right.

Ohhh. And my hair is about shoulder length.

:]]

Do guys like shoulder length, layered hair?

Anything too long or too short is not hot.

To me, if the hairstyle looks like she worked hard on it, its a turn-on because it means the woman likes to take care of herself.

Layering definately gives that look.

Do guys like shoulder length, layered hair?

well, im not gona say it depends on the guy, even though it does. instead, i'll tell u that guys like a a hairstyle when it looks good on u. Just because a girl has pretty long hair doesnt mean it'll look good on u. u just need to get a style that works for u and ur hair type. and just so u know, long hair isnt what gets those girls boyfriends. theres like a ton of reasons, so dont blame the hair.

Do guys like shoulder length, layered hair?

I 100% completely disagree with Kitiany. 9 out of 10 guys say that really short hair is nasty.

Now in your case you have shoulder lenght, so here the deal:

In the end, guys want to be with a girl that feels sexy. As long as there is some hair, they can run their hands through it when the kiss and do "other" things. Shoulder length is just as good as longer hair. Just from reading your post, you can do 3 things: 1. try chaning your color, 2. try changing the cut, not the length or 3. change your outlook.

3 might be the best place to start. If you think only girls with long hair get guys, then you might be giving off a bad vibe without evening knowing it. Your attitude might be picked up by the guys. Work what you got, smile and flirt. You will have 20 bfs in no time.

Do guys like shoulder length, layered hair?

i just love layers, shoulder length, go for it.

Should guys ever get layered hair cuts?

...for hair that is almost shoulder length?

Should guys ever get layered hair cuts?

Not really. I think they should keep it shoulder length and get a thinning and/or trim to get rid of the split ends.

Fashionable

Should guys ever get layered hair cuts?

Not unless they want to look like a refugee from 1978.

Should guys ever get layered hair cuts?

A layered hair cut on a male can have two different effects. Some would suggest that by having such a hair cut on a male he is most likely a homosexual or a metrosexual. I differ, I believe that it is a statement of pride to have your hair done in a way the best describes you. I have a crew cut, it is simple neat and strait to the point, exactly who I am. If I were fun, and exciting I might have gone with a mohawk, but I am not either of those things.

Do I need layered hair to do this?

If I want this hairstyle:

http://desiringhayden.net/images/albums/...

I think you need layered hair to do it but I'm not sure. How should I go about layering it though? Like on the sides? And how much? I don't know much about layering.

And please don't suggest taking a picture to the salon, I would rather not do that. And now that I said that I have a feeling you'll suggest it anyway just to be annoying so please don't it.

Do I need layered hair to do this?

Well depends on the length of your hair how much layering would cost but if its about the length in that picture then it would cost like $30.00.

Yes you need layering and conditioning for that hairstyle..

Do I need layered hair to do this?

Yes, and some type of product. But I think that style is so gross!

I have straight long and layered hair with bangs. I like to wear hair bands so i can still wear my hair down?

I think it looks cute when girls pull just the bangs back a little ways on the top of their head and put a little clip there. Enhances the facial features too!

use small clips and clip up the sides or maybe just your bangs

You can go on a search engine and type in "hair styles" and it will pull up a large selection of sites. Here is a link to one I found. It has lots of pictures.

Does anyone out there have layered hair?

I was thinking about getting this hair cut:

http://peerreview.blogs.com/peer_review/...

but one of my friends said that to make a layered haircut look good, it takes a lot of time every morning.

does anyone have any hair cut suggestions (w/ links included) that aren't layered? I have a diamond/oval face, and blond/brownish hair. My hair also isn't too thick, and it is straight.

Thank you:)

Does anyone out there have layered hair?

that particular cut in that pic would take a bit of time because it's slightly curled. I have hair kind of like that but a bit longer. If you get a hair straightener you can actually turn the ends (or do a slight wave like in that photo) really quickly, and you can get cheap ones nowadays almost anywhere, it only takes me 10 mins to get my layers looking like that with a straightener every morning. If I'm lazy I just tie it up! I also ha straight layers earlier that needed no cure at all and were actually a lot lot easier than non layered hair! And if your hair is thin and straight then layers would definitely look good on you.

Does anyone out there have layered hair?

I have layers and they aren't hard in fact they are easy peasy!!!!!

Does anyone out there have layered hair?

Does anyone out there have layered hair?

actually layering your hair wont take a lot of time in the morning, with a good layered cut, all u need to do is curl just the ends of your hair for a bit of volume or pull it up with a few whisps of the shorter layers around your face to frame it nicely. If you DO have the time and wanna get fancy, some loose curls can also add a lot of volume to your hair, all because of the layers :)

Can you please give me some pictures of layered hair of long layered hair?

i have a square shaped face but when i grab my hair into a ponytail it looks like an oval shaped, i'm hopping that a long layered hair cut will be best for me and i don't know wether i should have long bangs or have long layers go past my chin

Cute hair styles for medium - layered hair?

My hair's kinda strawberry-blonde color. Medium length. Layered a lot. It's naturally somewhat wavy. Sometimes I leave it natural, sometimes I straighten it. So I basically have no hw tonight for the first time in the past 5 years (seriously it's awesome) so I'm going to go to bed early and get up early and do something cool to my hair since it's the last day before break tomorrow. Any suggestions and tips? Thanks!

Cute hair styles for medium - layered hair?

.um...i guess straighten it and put in in a half pony tail...that would look cute

Cute hair styles for medium - layered hair?

curl it! and then go with a barrete! a nice big simple one tht sparkles, or something like tht!

Cute hair styles for medium - layered hair?

omg...i love answering these questions.

whatever u do..DON'T PUT IT UP! cuz i have the same hair in burnette. and with layered hair, if u put it up...it will fall out eventually. u should scruch it, or (if u have bangs) put them up and straighten ur layers.

Cute hair styles for medium - layered hair?

leave it wavy but put it in some cute pigtails. leave out the bangs

Cute hair styles for medium - layered hair?

I suggest that you...

1. Make a puff.

2. Curl it.

3. Straighten it.

4. Pig tails

The puff would be best in my opinion.

Cute hair styles for medium - layered hair?

gel it deffinetly!

put a hand of gel in and flip your head. scrunch it. and then let it dry after you spray it with hair spray. dont put gel on hte top. let it dry :D i do it alll the time it looks great ! good luck

Cute hair styles for medium - layered hair?

straighten it but put a slight bend on the end

Has anyone gotten layered hair that looked so awesome?

If you have please tell me. I have had my hair layered twice and it didn't really show. I got my 2nd layering haircut today at Great Clips. Is this a good parlor to get layers?

Has anyone gotten layered hair that looked so awesome?

i doesn't really matter were you go its how to tell the person how to cut it

i got my hair really short and layered and it came out awesome i brought a picture in i found on-line and i told them exactly what i wanted

i hope your hair looks good

Has anyone gotten layered hair that looked so awesome?

ask ur stylist to give you choppy layers. they'll show up better than just long layers.

I have layered hair and I get it done at Great Clips. Of course I'm the popularest kid in my school.

Has anyone gotten layered hair that looked so awesome?

Ive never had my hair layered but my sister has it done all the time

usually she does it on her own so i don't know much about good salons

Has anyone gotten layered hair that looked so awesome?

well; i have layered hair that looks so good, but it didn't look good until i got a $40 haircut at a good salon. the greatclips people kind of did a layering-for-thick-hair type of thing; the salon people gave me a layered-from-the-chin-down thing and it looks amazing. It's so worth going to the professionals!

Double layered hair??

im getting my haircut soon i i wanted to no if there is a such thing as double layers?? if so is there a picture anywhere thanks!

Double layered hair??

There are no double layers, but you can ask for more or many layers added to your hair layers. Here is a picture too: http://www.hrhairstyles.com/katebeckinsa...

Double layered hair??

what the heck? no. you can have lots of layers, but theyre defintately not called that

Double layered hair??

erm u just say how many layers u want

Double layered hair??

Its actually considered "layered" because you will have your hair at a different length

Double layered hair??

um no.

you just say how many layers you want

Double layered hair??

No. The term you are looking for is "Multipule Layers". Good luck with the hair cut =)

Double layered hair??

I've found that the best thing to do is to just explain to the stylist the best you can about what you exactly want. I've taken in pictures and my hair always ended up looking nothing like it, even after they styled it.

Hairstyles for layered hair?

I have quite long ,blonde layered hair, quite like jennifer anistons.I usually blowdry or straighten it but i am now bored with this and need some new hairstyles, any ideas? thanksx

Hairstyles for layered hair?

Do you have bangs?

If you do you can take the top middle part of you hair leaving the bangs and pin it down to give a mini half down half up effect.

You can do it of you don't have bangs as well.

Hairstyles for layered hair?

you should go shoulder length !

Hairstyles for layered hair?

curl it!

Layered hair shows off the curls better than non-layered hair does. i would suggest sleeping with Velcro curlers overnight. you will wake up with beautiful curls, and it will not add time to your morning routine.

I have long layered hair and i always do the same hair styles i need help finding new ways to do my hair.?

if it's curly or wavy, don't straighten it.

ponytail, two ponytails, bun, messy bun, pin everything up randomly, do a ponytail and on the last round don't pull it all the way through.

you could also get bangs.

do a google search on updos or whatever you want to find.

I have long layered hair and i always do the same hair styles i need help finding new ways to do my hair.?

I also have long layered straight hair and if i don't curl it with a 5/8" curling iron on all my hair and then use my fingers to go thru it . just flip it around and make it sexy. You need patience though.. another thing i do and it doesn't take forever is Remington hot curlers , all sizes and when they cool down , take them out and brush my hair with my face toward the floor and start at the nape of my neck, and brush forward. i get a feminine loose curl and it really looks nice. I like the fullness. Hope I helped you. There's always updos or your haired pulled up tight and then loosen it a little with your fingers.Of course you will need some shaping spray or a light hairspray and you can tease your hair underneath. Sexy!

messy buns r adorable

a ponytail slightly to the side is cute

but a high genie ponytail is cute, especially if u have side bangs

also a rlly low braid or ponytail that goes over your shoulder is gr8

Do I have to blow dry my long layered hair?

I just got my hair cut today and I went from my hair being all one length to having long layers. At the salon I got my hair blow dried but I don't have one at home right now and a lot of mornings I don't have time for all that. Do I have to blow dry it or will my hair look okay without it? I tried to find some websites that show different ways to style layered hair but I couldnt find anything. Thanks for reading

Do I have to blow dry my long layered hair?

no, it is better not to if you have the rime to let it dry

Do I have to blow dry my long layered hair?

One great way to show off your layers without blow drying is pulling it back half up, half down. It layers your face and it's very pretty.

Do I have to blow dry my long layered hair?

it all depends on the type of hair u have. if uve been fine with not blow drying ur hair then u probably r gonna b ok with not blow drying ur layerd hair unless u just want that extra oomp one day =]

Do I have to blow dry my long layered hair?

I wouldnt see why you should have to blow dry it..let it air dry..dont believe it would make a difference.

Do I have to blow dry my long layered hair?

Well, I used to have layered hair (for a really long time- ever since 4th grade and I cut it off to straight this spring (6th grade, so that's 2 years now)) and I think blow drying it will be good for you.

1. You can't do much with a towel- it's not good to rub your hair after a shower- your hair is delicate

2. It's just way faster and without it, you would spend hours on your hair.

If you use a hair dryer, then do the following steps...

*Use a wide-spaced finger comb or a brush with holes in it (the hair dryer may come with it but if not, get a brush with space in it so that the hair-dryer air can go through it while you're brushing)

*Do not use a brush that has very little holes between the fingers- it will damage your hair

*Go to pantene.com for more info- check out the dealing with straight hair section. (I'm assuming that you have straight hair- straight hair is better for layers) I don't have much time here, but I hope this helps.

How do you like hair that is layered into two layers?

i have medium length hair and i have short bangs swept to one side.

How do you like hair that is layered into two layers?

i think it can be totally pretty on some people and from what u tell me i think it would look good on u to. good luck and dont be afraid to try it out!

How do you like hair that is layered into two layers?

I hate these kinds of questions.

How do you like hair that is layered into two layers?

How do you like hair that is layered into two layers?

How do I blow dry my long, layered hair?

I have long layered hair, a little longer than halfway down my back. It stays fairly frizz-free for most of the day but I would like to learn how to blow dry it for occassions when I go out.

What tools do I need and what techniques should I use. I have never blowdried my hair before, and it is no colored...

Thanks!

How do I blow dry my long, layered hair?

First wash and condition, towel dry, then apply a thermal protectant (like a leave in conditioner) them comb out with a with tooth comb. If you want volume turn your head up-side down and run the brush and the dryer over your hair starting in the middle and working out until its dry. If you just want it straight and smooth, part hair in 4 sections and begin drying hair startin from the nape until finished.IMPORTANT: use a round vented ceramic brush with natural bristles and a good blow dryer. To finish add a little gloss spray for shine.

How do I blow dry my long, layered hair?

towel dry ur hair so it's not soaked and then blow dry it (conair i t hink is the best blow dryer) if u want it straiter use a brush like ur brushing ur hair but if u brush ur hair when ur blow drying it'll get straiter

good lick

How do I blow dry my long, layered hair?

turn ur head upside down, start @ the scalp using ur fingers, pull them thru ur hair keeping the blow dryer along with it oh %26amp; use a cool setting. this will give u body %26amp; shine its a long enough process but it works i know my hair is down to my butt %26amp; layers also. hope this helps

How do I blow dry my long, layered hair?

use a diffuser i have ultra thick frizzy hair and they work really well

with a defuse you don't have a direct air flow its will evenly dry your hair with out it getting frizzy. If you go to a store like Sally's or something they sell diffusers that just attach to the nozzle of your hair dryer

Good Luck

How do I blow dry my long, layered hair?

Start by flipping your head upside down ( gives your hair fullness) and blow dry for a couple of minutes upside down. Then flip your head back up and section your hair off starting underneath closest to your neck and blow dry root to tip using a round brush or a paddle brush helps to smooth the hair out. Once that section is mostly dry move up to the next one and continue all the way to the top of your head. Then flip your head upsode down again and finish drying that way. Just dont use really high heat or you will fry your hair. If you have a blow dryer that has cool air try to use it - alternating between cool and warm works best for me. It is also a good idea to use a heat protectant gel on your hair before blow drying.

How do I blow dry my long, layered hair?

apply a little bit of straightening cream(Loreal "Studio Hot Straight" works well) to protect from heat damage and to prevent frizz. divide your hair into 4 sections and move the brush and blow-dryer vertically, directing airflow down the hair shaft. continue from section to sextion until all sextions are dry and smooth(if you have a straightener, run that through afterwards for extra shine and smoothness) hope that helped :)

How do I blow dry my long, layered hair?

Well, first blow dry your hair, buy a anti frizz cream. Then when you are done blow drying it go over it with a flat iron just before you hit your hair ends, so you will still have that blow dried effect. Using the flat iron will lock the hair so it could be straight and managable.

How do I blow dry my long, layered hair?

yeah all you have to do s take one layer at a time, get a brush, hold it up and slide you blow dryer down and it will loook rrealllly cute.

ps. your sooo lucky your hair doesnt frizz alot! haha

pss. good luck!!

I hope this helps...and just remember that your layers will look differently if you straighten your hair or not, so it's best to tell the hairdresser which you do...also make sure you tell her what length you want the layers before your hair is wet and point out the length don't just say an inch or two...because your inch will be different from her inch.

Maybe something like this: http://www.hissandpop.com/eva-longoria/p...

Eva Longoria has long layers. Also if you remember Sandra Bullock from the first Miss Congeniality movie, her hair was long and layered and very pretty. If you hate it just cut the layers off and wear it short.

try looking it up on google images

What does long layered hair look like??(Please give a picture if you can find one)?

There are a lot of different layered cuts. It just means that your hair is cut at different lengths instead of one length. There's ususally the shortest layer on the top and the longest layer on the bottom. It's a really nice look, but it requires a bit of time to style (flat layers don't look good) and it's almost impossible to pull off if you have fine hair.

YOU CAN ALSO GO TO SALON AND LOOK AT PICTURE AND HAIR DRESSER CAN TELL YOU IF THIS HAIR STYLE WOULD WORK WITH YOUR HAIR. GOOD LUCK.

What does long layered hair look like??(Please give a picture if you can find one)?

it looks very nice if you have straight hair maybe just slightly wavy hair or if you use hot rollers but like i said depending how you do your hair will determine on how it will look plus your face shape has alot to with how you should get it cut 閳?br>What does long layered hair look like??(Please give a picture if you can find one)?

What does long layered hair look like??(Please give a picture if you can find one)?

I have long layered hair. It's very long! Obvo! Also, it kinda has the cute little flip to it at the very end. At the top it's kinda wavy yet straight. It's a great style. However, you gotta keep it well washed. Because, since theirs layers you never know what kinda nasty germs and grime could be building up. That's what my hairdresser told me. So go out their and get the layered look. It's really hot!

What hairstyles work best for meduim length, layered hair?

My hair is layered, about 1 and a 1/2 inches below shoulders and I want to know whats the best style for it? I was thinking a side ponytail but all the layers fall out easy and I want something easy to work with for school! Please and thank you!

What hairstyles work best for meduim length, layered hair?

strightening is what I would go with it will show the layering techniqe of your hair also really cute and easy to fix

side pony tails are very cute but you are right they do fall out easy with layers try bobby pins that might help you a lot! =)

and getting a curling iron and fliping your hair up with the curling iron if you like the side pony you will love fliping your hair up. =)

What hairstyles work best for meduim length, layered hair?

always do a pony tail. they're so cute and you can do a lot of things with them.

What hairstyles work best for meduim length, layered hair?

Pony Tail!

What hairstyles work best for meduim length, layered hair?

well thats how my hair is, so i just get a clippy (a long one) and pull my hair back and up, and clip it that way...

What hairstyles work best for meduim length, layered hair?

Try curling the ends of the layers. That will make it look bouncy and fresh.

What hairstyles work best for meduim length, layered hair?

My hair is also layered and what I usually do is like put it in a low or medium ponytail or do pigtails. you could also just put part of your hair up I do that alot too.

What hairstyles work best for meduim length, layered hair?

My hair's exactly the same! I found one style that I loved in Latina magazine. Mousse and scrunch your hair. Then, put it in a ponytail. After that, use bobby pins to pull your hair over the band and let the ends hang out. I'll post a picture later if I can... it's really cute, looks a little like a short shaggy cut, but you don't even need to come near a pair of scissors

How to get rid of layered hair?

My hair used to be longer and thicker, but then my mom made me get my hair layered, so now my overall hair shape looks a lot thinner. I want it to grow thicker again. Will it continue growing in a thin style forever, or will it grow back thicker? And also is there anything i could do to make my hair grow faster?

How to get rid of layered hair?

it'll grow back to the way it was before

How to get rid of layered hair?

The layers will grow out and your hair will become thicker when the layers grow out. Just don't get it cut for awhile until the layers are grown out or just get it trimmed. Try horse shampoo for thicker hair and to make it grow faster. As strange as it may sound , my husband suggested I use it on my daughter's hair and it really worked. Also, eating alot of protein will not only make your hair grow, but your nails also.

How to get rid of layered hair?

It'll grow back but never layer again and keep cutting in one length

How to get rid of layered hair?

There is no single product that grows hair because everyone hair has its own natural growth pattern. There is no wey to get rid of layers. The only think you can do is let them grow out and then cut your hair even once the last layer is at shoulder length. In order to keep your hair health you should shampoo and condition your hair. Condition is the key a good one such as Paul Mitchell or Nexus

How to get rid of layered hair?

I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM BECAUSE I CUT MY HAIR REALLY SHORT WITH THE SHAVE IN THE BACK. MY HAIR STARTING GROWING ONCE I STARTED GETTING CONDITIONERS THAT RELATED TO MY HAIR PROBLEMS, LIKE MORE MOISTURIZER OR BODY. I WOULD GET SOME DEEP CONDITIONER SOMETHING THAT WILL HELP PROTECT YOUR HAIR FROM HEAT AND EVERYTHING ELSE. I HOPE THIS HELPS.

How to get rid of layered hair?

hair has a limit to how long it grows. so if you want to wait it out, then it will even eventually. or you can cut it one length again, but itll be short...

How to get rid of layered hair?

Let it grow keep getting ends trimmed

I need a new hairdo!!! I have a round face and long layered hair.?

I do not like short hair and I like long length but I just need somrthig different!!!

I need a new hairdo!!! I have a round face and long layered hair.?

You're going to want a style that lengthens the face. I think you would probably look best with a long, just past the sholder length bob. You want the kind that's a bit shorter in the back and gets longer and angled in the front. I don't know what you mean by short, though, so if you want it longer, try getting waves in your hair. Check out this website all about hairstyles for round face shapes.

I miself have flipped hair, ill show you some pics for fun.

http://s85.photobucket.com/albums/k67/go...

%26lt;a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"%26gt;%26lt;img src="http://i85.photobucket.com/albums/k... border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket"%26gt;%26lt;/a%26gt;
