Shampoos for layered, blonde hair??

I need either a bought or homemade shampoo and conditioner for my hair. My hair is naturally really really blonde, nearly white and its layered and middle length. My hair often goes green after swimming because of the chlorine. I also straighten my hair often so a protective one would be good. Thanks!!

Shampoos for layered, blonde hair??

Sunsilk has a new shampoo out for blondes. The line's called Blonde Bombshell, and it has a shampoo, conditioner, and some styling products.

Shampoos for layered, blonde hair??

dove

Shampoos for layered, blonde hair??

Try Fekkai shampoo for blondes, but be careful, it is very powerful at keeping minerals and such out of your hair and thus will make it much lighter, so only use it if you dont mind having platinum hair, but it sounds to me like yours is close.

Shampoos for layered, blonde hair??

i learned the other day that buying shampoo and rinse is cheaper at your local hair dresser. i think that would be the right place to go to find what you want. the hairdressers are professionals after all. good luck

Shampoos for layered, blonde hair??

you need a clarifying shampoo for the chlorine (or a swimming cap), and a deep conditioner or leave-in for the styling. stay away from loreal they are #1 for animal testing in the beauty industry. leave in i recommend CHI silk infusion by Farouk. been doing hair 4 11 years

Whats the best layered hair style for a scene look?

llike, how short should the shortest layer be and how do i make it pooffy??.......mainly the poofy thing....it just doesnt seem to work....

Whats the best layered hair style for a scene look?

you need haispray and gel, and i think you have to tease to make it poofy

In a layered hair cut, how many layers are there typically???

it depends on the length of your hair and how smooth do you want the gradation between the shortest and the longest layer to be. Usually it is about 3 or 4 to make the difference noticeable but still make it look balanced.

In a layered hair cut, how many layers are there typically???

About 3, but you can ask specifically for however many you want. I usually only get 2. It also depends if you want long layers or shorter layers.

In a layered hair cut, how many layers are there typically???

3.14159129

In a layered hair cut, how many layers are there typically???

At Taco Bell it's 7.

In a layered hair cut, how many layers are there typically???

usually there should be three. only because you should be able to tie your hair up after.

In a layered hair cut, how many layers are there typically???

Hi i think around a bout 2 or 3 its up to u i get my hair layed but i only get 2 if u want more then 4 i think u have to go to a specialist!

In a layered hair cut, how many layers are there typically???

to get layers hair is cut at an ANGLE. how many layers in a triangle? none! how many layers are on any ANGLE? NONE!

unless you have a disconnected cut ( like the old 'skater' cut with the bottom shaved close and the rest of the hair falls over it like a 'bob')

we hairstylists laugh at you girls who say things like," i want 2 or 3 layers put in, but i don't want layers". any idea how INCREDIBLE STUPID you would look if we hairstylists listened to you?

In a layered hair cut, how many layers are there typically???

alright now i dont know who is cutting your hair or even some of these girls that answered 2 to 3 or whatever the girl above is right it is an angle and the way you want the layers to look and if you have 3 layers they would look like unblended steps in your hair and sure that would be attractive....so it all depends on the type of look you are looking for

What are some ways to say how you want your hair layered?

I need some examples because I plan on getting my hair layered today. I want it to be from my ears down and all the way around.

What are some ways to say how you want your hair layered?

Just tell them to layer it. There aren't that many ways to layer hair. Just cutting the first layer shorter then the others.

What are some ways to say how you want your hair layered?

can you layer my hair from my ears down and all the way around if they ask what you mean explain to them

What are some ways to say how you want your hair layered?

Blended layers arent as noticable and choppy or chunky are more noticable....

What are some ways to say how you want your hair layered?

I've had problems with that off and on for a few years. I've found it's just easier to take a picture with you and show them.

What are some ways to say how you want your hair layered?

Your best bet is to find a picture of the style you want in a magazine or a stylist book (at some beauty shops) and show your hair dresser.

What are some ways to say how you want your hair layered?

you can ask for long layers or short layers. you can also ask them to texturize your hair, which helps with alot of hair styles.

What are some ways to say how you want your hair layered?

well, you can tell the stylist you want either choppy layers, which would be more stylish, funky, chunky... or you can say you want even or uniform layers all the way around with a face frame starting at your ears (be careful to tell her you do NOT want a mullet-like cut though) ... or you can get a v-shaped, or u-shaped cut, which is real pretty.

I have thin, blonde hair that i straighten every day. do you think i should get it layered?

i have naturally wavy hair, but im going to straighten it everyday. so would it look good if i got my hair layered?

I have thin, blonde hair that i straighten every day. do you think i should get it layered?

I have layers and I straighten my hair often, and it looks good. You just have to make sure your hair stylist knows that youre going to be wearing your hair straight so she can cut it appropriately.

I have thin, blonde hair that i straighten every day. do you think i should get it layered?

Not if you straighten it. Straightening hair damages it even though we like to do it. I suggest you drop straightening if you get layers.

I have thin, blonde hair that i straighten every day. do you think i should get it layered?

yes, layered hair looks great.

I have thin, blonde hair that i straighten every day. do you think i should get it layered?

Oh! Please NO!! my friend %26amp; I did that 10 years ago ,.. %26amp; it's hard to get it to look nice again!!

Ms. Kate

How much do you think it would cost to get my hair layered with bangs, highlighted and straightened?

Tommorow is my birthday and I wanted to get my hair done... I have long black hair. And what I want is to do was get my hair layered with bangs, fuschia highlights, and finally get it straightened. But I need to know an "estimate" on how much it will be. Can someone help me...a hairstyleist maybe?

How much do you think it would cost to get my hair layered with bangs, highlighted and straightened?

150-200

How much do you think it would cost to get my hair layered with bangs, highlighted and straightened?

plan on it costing 150 for a full head and haircut. it s expensive to keep up ewith color so make sure you are sure before you get it done

How much do you think it would cost to get my hair layered with bangs, highlighted and straightened?

Probably depends on where you live. I'm in the mid-south. Tomorrow I'm getting highlights, with foils, three colors. I will get my hair trimmed up, it's long but layered, with bangs. It will be 85-100. The cut comes with the color at my salon. I usually tip the girl about 10 bucks too.

How much do you think it would cost to get my hair layered with bangs, highlighted and straightened?

I would say about $150 at a pretty good salon. About $30 for the hair cut...at least $60 for color....and anywhere from $30-60 for a hair relaxer. Unless you just want it to be straitened with a flat iron...in that case it would be like $10 for styling

How much do you think it would cost to get my hair layered with bangs, highlighted and straightened?

I just recently got my hair highlighted and cut in los angeles, and the price was between $150-200. :]

How much do you think it would cost to get my hair layered with bangs, highlighted and straightened?

your best anwser would be to call the place you plan on getting it done. or call a few hair places to get a few prices but im sure they will be around the same but thats ur best bet is to call you will have to make an appointment anyways so u should just call

Are right sideswept bangs w/ shoulderlength layered hair pretty for a roundish/ovalish face?

I'm getting my hair cut sometime in the next 1 or 2 weeks %26amp; I'd like to know if sideswept bangs to the right would look cute? I'm going to get shoulderlength layered hair too.

I have black hair, too :P

Can I have some pictures so I know what I would look like?

Thanks!

You sound just like my friend. She did the same thing and it looked really cute. There are some great example by just typing in side swept bangs and layered hair into google images.

What to do about split ends with layered and colored hair?

For the last two years I have been getting my hair highlited through the cap thing. It started growing out and so I decided to get some of that cheap stuff from Wal-Mart and dye it back brown. My hair is layered sort of like that Jennifer Anniston look and I use a flat iron and since I've dyed it brown, you can see major split ends and it is very dry. If I were to get all the split ends cut off it would be very short and I like the lenghth it is. Any suggestions on a good conditioner or something? I want it to look shiny. I use that Frizz Ease and the Aussie 3 minute miracle and even that Scruples Moisterex but I need something that will repair split ends and make my hair shiny if there is such a product. Any help would be very much appreciated.

What to do about split ends with layered and colored hair?

First and foremost you must understand that hair is not living. In other words you can't truly repair damage that's already done.

At best follicles can be smoothed by product but split ends are a lot like the frayed edges of a towel. Unless you cut off the offending area the frays will get longer.

**The same for your hair, tell your hairdresser you only want enough off to eliminate as many split ends as you can. She can tell as she cuts it.

**I would recommend scissors not razor for a little while as the razor can add to the problem.

**Then ask for a hot oil treatment.

This gives your hair the fastest recovery.

**Realize too that heat whether really hot water, too much sun, or dryer or Flat Irons truly do damage the hair resulting in a tendency to brittle/dry, and split ends.

**So we know you want that cute style but consider cutting back as much as you can.

**Let your hair air dry as often as possible, blot with towel not rub, and when you use a hot iron try to leave hair in there as short a time as possible.

**Don't opt for the hottest heat setting, try for the lowest that will do the job.

**Try to find ways to add moisture, the 3 minute miracle is a great place to start, they also have a 'Deep' conditioner that's out now. I would also look for smoothing serums.

**Also, don't wash hair every day, go every other day at most.

I know this long and probably not what you wanted to hear but try to remember, your will grow back before you know it and that doing it this way means some discomfort to you (perhaps) for a few weeks, not taking care of it can mean annoyance/discomfort for months.

Who knows you may find you like not having to spend as much time on your hair. And when you do attend special occasions (time to pull out the flat iron!) then you won't have to search as hard for a new look.

What to do about split ends with layered and colored hair?

Just get it cut that's the easiest way then start using better shampoos and conditioners like those sun silk ones. But getting your split ends cut shouldn't make your hair THAT short unless they're really really really bad.

What to do about split ends with layered and colored hair?

Cut back on the dye, let it do its thing, cut back majorly on the flat iron. Try some special shampoo's with a replenish in it. And you should be using conditioner. If its really bad you going to have to get it cut. You should maintain your hair by getting trims every three months *depending on how your hair grows* Also cut back on the products you put into your hair. Its really hard on it, and blow drying can be horrible to.

What to do about split ends with layered and colored hair?

Nope once you got split ends you can't get rid of them unless you have it trimmed. It should only take a cm cut to get rid of them all. Plus your hair grows quicker when you have it cut!

What to do about split ends with layered and colored hair?

try the vitamin called Biotin...it did wonders with my split ends, my skin, and my fingernails.....and it is cheap!!!! you won't believe how good all three look after about a month of taking that one vitamin!!!!!

Good Luck!!!

What to do about split ends with layered and colored hair?

your hair sounds alot like mine. sadly i havent found a miracle cure. all i have found that sort of works is keeping the very ends trimmed off regularly and keep using good conditionres. there is a product called Shine that you can use daily that helps a good bit. its like a clear oil looking stuff that comes in a very small pump bottle available at wal mart. 1 bottle lasts a very long time which is good because its fairly expensive. good luck.

p.s. cholesterol works pretty good too.

What to do about split ends with layered and colored hair?

Best thing to do it get it cut to get rid of the split ends and let the color grow out. Re dying your hair will just damage it more. Also using an iron on dyed hair dries it out and that can cause more split ends

What to do about split ends with layered and colored hair?

Go to your local salon and get a trim. You need to get trims every 6 to 8 weeks. That will keep your ends fresh. While you are there pick up paul mitchell super skinny, it's a serum to smooth the hair and make it shiny. also get redkin extreme anti-snap, this is a leave in conditioner ,This product contains protein, it is really good to start repairing the hair. Put it on your hair before your super skinny. It works on repairing the hair all day. If you want a real good reconstructing treatment Redkin extreme has a whole line they have shampoo, conditioner, deep conditioners, leave in's. And the more you use in that line the better off your hair will be. When you use these products you will see a big difference.. I have a perm on top of color. So my hair is very dry and split, plus I flat iron it all the time. I use these products everyday whether I scrunch my hair or I flat iron it.. But Good luck!! I hope this helps!!!

What to do about split ends with layered and colored hair?

you need to get your split ends cut off! then quit blow drying, dying, and using your straightener on your hair all the time!! the chemicals and heat will damage your hair!!

What to do about split ends with layered and colored hair?

get a glossy products from a beauty store.. like frizz ez or something like that.. get it trimmed every 6 weeks and if u straighten it alot get a heat protector product and curl the straightner under where the layers start.. it will help make it l;ess frissy

What to do about split ends with layered and colored hair?

go to a pro and get it trimmed. get good shampoo and conditioner and try to ease up in blow drying and curling irons. good luck, i know it can be a pain

What to do about split ends with layered and colored hair?

I'm very anal when it comes to my hair. go to a hairdresser and tell them how much you want cut, no more no less. a good stylist will honor your requests.

i had the same problem. before she began i told my stylist to only cut a 1/2 inch. a good stylist will show you the size of hair in her hand to make sure that that's what you want. (a 1/2 inch is about the size of the width of the tip of your pinkie)

after that initial cut, i continued going for a trim to the same stylist every 3 mos but only allowed her to cut a 1/4 inch. now i have healthy hair down to my shoulders blades. it really made a difference. its been 6 years and i will not let anyone else touch my hair. she knows me and she knows my hair.

good luck.

How can I describe layered hair to my stylist?

How would I describe these kinds of layers, preferably the 1st picture? Do I say lots of layers, textured layers, add texture or something totally different? I have to describe it to my stylist cause she's not good with pictures, yeah thats stupid but oh well.

http://tinyurl.c om/ywxckd

How can I describe layered hair to my stylist?

I would just bring in the pictures because then your stylist knows exactly what you want and you don't have to worry about describing it to them. I think that stylist like seeing pictures too so that they don't give you somethinng totally different...it works for everyone!!!

How can I describe layered hair to my stylist?

Hey thats kinda like the hair i just got!!

well, i told my stylist really short layers and choppy.

layers, layers,layers

theyll know what you mean

How can I describe layered hair to my stylist?

that is more of a shag.. like a choppy layered look

the best thing to do it print off thsoe pics and take them in! That way there is no misunderstanding! And if she doesnt understand pics... wtf?!?!?! id get a new stylist

Can i achieve the layered look without cutting my hair in layers?

Double layered hair??

im getting my haircut soon i i wanted to no if there is a such thing as double layers?? if so is there a picture anywhere thanks!

Double layered hair??

There are no double layers, but you can ask for more or many layers added to your hair layers. Here is a picture too: http://www.hrhairstyles.com/katebeckinsa...

Double layered hair??

what the heck? no. you can have lots of layers, but theyre defintately not called that

Double layered hair??

erm u just say how many layers u want

Double layered hair??

Its actually considered "layered" because you will have your hair at a different length

Double layered hair??

um no.

you just say how many layers you want

Double layered hair??

No. The term you are looking for is "Multipule Layers". Good luck with the hair cut =)

Double layered hair??

I've found that the best thing to do is to just explain to the stylist the best you can about what you exactly want. I've taken in pictures and my hair always ended up looking nothing like it, even after they styled it.

Trimming Layered Hair?

I need to get a trim, I want to just do it at home, I know thats how lots of people do it

I have layers all over so I dont know what to do about that

Do you have any tips?

Thanks

Trimming Layered Hair?

If I were you, I would just go to a salon and get it done. For a trim, it shouldn't cost more then $15.

I have short layered hair I need I need some hairstyles!?

my hair is up to my shoulders and its layered its mostly wavy which gets annoying so I wear a pony tail I am tired of that does anyone have any hairstyles?

I have short layered hair I need I need some hairstyles!?

buy those soft curlers and sleep in them. it is soooo easy and you save so much time in the morning. you just take them out and only brush the top of your hair otherwise you brush right through the curls. then use hairspray, not mousse. ive found that a great brand of hairspray is matrix hairspray. and for looser, messier curls, you separate each curl in two. it is a more casual, less shirley temple look.

then for waves, sleep in braids. (the number depending on how wavy you want your hair. i would probably recommend about eight or so) then you just take them out in the morning and just brush the top of your hair. you can use hairspray, but i usually dont need it, but then again, my hair holds waves really well......

and if you shower in the morning, scrunch your hair with mousse and it looks pretty good but might get a little frizzy.

and as for just regular hairstyles, i would try sidebangs or whispy bangs instead of thick ones......dont know about the cut i might have to see the shape of your face, sry....

you can also do buns, because they are pretty in, or low pigtails, but you might be a little old for them, but my sister in college looks cute in them so i dont know.....

as for hairbands, very cute and in!!! definitely!!!

u could wear your hair half-up, leaving your bangs down.....

hope i helped!!! good luck!!!

I have short layered hair I need I need some hairstyles!?

um.. put hair mousse on ur hair so it volumizes it then maybe you could flip ur layers out

I have short layered hair I need I need some hairstyles!?

Roll and set it. Mousse it. Gel it and spray hard to old spray or Sheen spray. Wash it, mousse, gel, and freeze. (holding spray). Styling gel. Sculpure it. Hair pens can be your friend too.

I have short layered hair I need I need some hairstyles!?

try adding a cute head band. i have one to match every outfit and they arent that expensive. 1-6 dollars max. i wear them with my hair up and down and get tons of complements. another good idea is barettes. i bought a whole pack of like 26 at target for 3 dollars. you can use them to create different styles too. adding hair accesories can make a ton of difference.

I have short layered hair I need I need some hairstyles!?

How about also going with the wave in your hair. I have a natural wave as well and by merely my putting some styling mousse (foam) or if you prefer gel (it's too harsh for my sensitive scalp) and using a diffuser attachment (with those little 'fingers') while twirling small sections of your hair (being careful not to hold the dryer in one place for too long or can get burnt). It's so much easier than trying to blow it out straight and then it frizzing up ;)

For mousse, I prefer Texture foam for heat styling :) I then just put a spritz of final net hairspray (pump as not nearly as toxic as aeresol spray) unscented. It doesn't make the hair too stiff either.

How long does a guy's hair have to be to get it layered?

also, if anyone could help, what exactly do they do when they layer your hair?

How long does a guy's hair have to be to get it layered?

You can layer any length of hair, but it depends on what style you're after. Traditional layers, your hair needs to be at least past your ears in length, or even as far down as your shoulders. Layers just break up the silhouette of your hair and helps frame your face. It can also make your hair appear thinner if you have very thick, bushy hair, if your hairdresser cuts it in a specific way.

Layers are just normal hair cutting, but they do it in segments, so each segment of hair has a length, with the longest at the back, and the shortest at the top/front.

How long does a guy's hair have to be to get it layered?

not very long...depends on what kind of look you want

How long does a guy's hair have to be to get it layered?

It would have 2 be shoulder length. ;)

How long does a guy's hair have to be to get it layered?

well if you want short choppy layers it could be a little passed your face if you are wanting longer layers it would have to be shoulder length. all they do is make the top and middle portions shorter than the last.

How long does a guy's hair have to be to get it layered?

i dont think that guy should grow there hair out like this a simple fade is what looks best on a guy...although i am entitled to that opinion everyone is different

How long does a guy's hair have to be to get it layered?

I would say that it would have to be atleast to the end of your face, and they just cut different sections different lengths so it's not all the same cut. It looks good if it'sdone right.

How long does a guy's hair have to be to get it layered?

personally i think thats kinda the "G" word. im not gonna say the word cause i know people will report it, but its pretty feminine! but check out keith urbans hair, his hair is kinda like that but hes pretty hot!

How long does a guy's hair have to be to get it layered?

don't go for layering, get the steve harvey fro....looks like a perfectly groomed chia pet

How long does a guy's hair have to be to get it layered?

well it needs to be at least on their neck

How long does a guy's hair have to be to get it layered?

Why would you want to layer your hair. Thats only for girls and gay guys. If you are gay, your hair has to be at least shoulder length for it to look good. Layering means that you cut some hair shorter and leave hair under it longer. It adds volume and looks cute. Its popular among hispanic women and it looks sexy. wacth novelas to see what it looks like

How long does a guy's hair have to be to get it layered?

i would have to be at least shoulder lenghth, but depends on what kind of layer your looking for.

Layered hair can anyone suggest a product that keeps the layers?

sticking up keeps the layers straight and not static thanks also not too expensive please

Layered hair can anyone suggest a product that keeps the layers?

There is a product called concrete, I think by redkin? I have some at home...it's great for peicing out your hair, and it has great staying power...the last time I bought a bottle it was 13 bucks, but it last forever since you don' t have to use too much of it at a time.

Layered hair can anyone suggest a product that keeps the layers?

catfish feces

Layered hair can anyone suggest a product that keeps the layers?

I am obsessed with Herbal Essences! You should really consider trying Set My Up Hairspray by Herbal Essences. It comes in Max Hold and Gel Spray and a lotta other types of it.

Layered hair can anyone suggest a product that keeps the layers?

a hair dresser

Layered hair can anyone suggest a product that keeps the layers?

Garnier products are good, try "surfs up"

Layered hair can anyone suggest a product that keeps the layers?

i use Garnier ,fructis style ,polishing WAX, with fruit micro-waxes .it gives a long lasting shine, strong .i find it good as it brings all my layers out and models my layers and hair without leaving it sticky, greasy or horrible.it gives a soft texture to the hair and makes your hair smell fruity. it leaves my hair always smooth and NOT frizzy . i just rub a bit into my finger tips and run it trough my hair at the same time styling it and bringing out the layers !

Does anyone out there have layered hair?

I was thinking about getting this hair cut:

http://peerreview.blogs.com/peer_review/...

but one of my friends said that to make a layered haircut look good, it takes a lot of time every morning.

does anyone have any hair cut suggestions (w/ links included) that aren't layered? I have a diamond/oval face, and blond/brownish hair. My hair also isn't too thick, and it is straight.

Thank you:)

Does anyone out there have layered hair?

that particular cut in that pic would take a bit of time because it's slightly curled. I have hair kind of like that but a bit longer. If you get a hair straightener you can actually turn the ends (or do a slight wave like in that photo) really quickly, and you can get cheap ones nowadays almost anywhere, it only takes me 10 mins to get my layers looking like that with a straightener every morning. If I'm lazy I just tie it up! I also ha straight layers earlier that needed no cure at all and were actually a lot lot easier than non layered hair! And if your hair is thin and straight then layers would definitely look good on you.

Does anyone out there have layered hair?

I have layers and they aren't hard in fact they are easy peasy!!!!!

Does anyone out there have layered hair?

GO 4 IT!!

Does anyone out there have layered hair?

actually layering your hair wont take a lot of time in the morning, with a good layered cut, all u need to do is curl just the ends of your hair for a bit of volume or pull it up with a few whisps of the shorter layers around your face to frame it nicely. If you DO have the time and wanna get fancy, some loose curls can also add a lot of volume to your hair, all because of the layers :)

Where can i find pics of choppy layered hair cuts?!?

okay...well i have some emo like side bangs but a bit shorter.

Cute hair styles for medium - layered hair?

My hair's kinda strawberry-blonde color. Medium length. Layered a lot. It's naturally somewhat wavy. Sometimes I leave it natural, sometimes I straighten it. So I basically have no hw tonight for the first time in the past 5 years (seriously it's awesome) so I'm going to go to bed early and get up early and do something cool to my hair since it's the last day before break tomorrow. Any suggestions and tips? Thanks!

xoxo

Cute hair styles for medium - layered hair?

.um...i guess straighten it and put in in a half pony tail...that would look cute

Cute hair styles for medium - layered hair?

curl it! and then go with a barrete! a nice big simple one tht sparkles, or something like tht!

Cute hair styles for medium - layered hair?

omg...i love answering these questions.

whatever u do..DON'T PUT IT UP! cuz i have the same hair in burnette. and with layered hair, if u put it up...it will fall out eventually. u should scruch it, or (if u have bangs) put them up and straighten ur layers.

Cute hair styles for medium - layered hair?

leave it wavy but put it in some cute pigtails. leave out the bangs

Cute hair styles for medium - layered hair?

I suggest that you...

1. Make a puff.

2. Curl it.

3. Straighten it.

4. Pig tails

The puff would be best in my opinion.

Cute hair styles for medium - layered hair?

gel it deffinetly!

put a hand of gel in and flip your head. scrunch it. and then let it dry after you spray it with hair spray. dont put gel on hte top. let it dry :D i do it alll the time it looks great ! good luck

Cute hair styles for medium - layered hair?

straighten it but put a slight bend on the end

What are some good hair styles for thick, wavy, and layered hair?

Well, my hair is wavy, thick, and layered. It is to my shoulders and i have no hair styles, because of the short layers i have to wear a headband everyday. Any1 have any ideas? thanks for the help.

What are some good hair styles for thick, wavy, and layered hair?

You could straighten with a good set of straighteneres(GHD) if it's thick like mine,it will keep the waves at bay.Or you could put perm lotion through it, leave on for an hour and it takes the wave out your hair.

What are some good hair styles for thick, wavy, and layered hair?

I have the same thing but not layered, and wavy hair...I want layered hair I AM HAVing it layered today! :) Report It

What are some good hair styles for thick, wavy, and layered hair?

try taking you shortest layers and taking them an putting a POFFE on the top of your head. (its the style thats in)

Take a comb an tease at the roots, put some hair spary in it and then take hair clips and clip it so it makes a poffe.

have you tryed curling you hair. If not and you want to. here how to do that so it looks natural and not skunchy chunchy

Go an get John Fredia Frizz璺疎as DREAM CURL. An moose.

When you get out of the shower, dont Brush your hair, use a pick an comb throw your hair, then take the DREAM CURL and spray it threw out your hair and do a skruncing motion threw your hair. Then take the moose and put it on the ends and roots.put up in a clip to dry or us a diffuser. Just dont use hairspay cuz that what gives it that skunchy wet look.

Or you can get Hot rollers.

and put them in your hair. Hot curling rollers look awsome in layerd hair. Buy them and you'll love them. they are simple to use. Heat them up, Put them in your hair for 10 min take out put a little spray an you'll look like your going to hit up the red carpet. If you do buy hot curling rollers but them as big as you can or one that have all diffrent sizes in them.

What are some good hair styles for thick, wavy, and layered hair?

When you say short layers... I assume you mean you don't have alot of layers. You could always put it up into a ponytail if you don't have time... I think it looks nice when you have a bit of waves.

Heard Dream Curls has worked for most people with curlier hair... so that could work for you. Most would apply some sort of curling mousse or curling spray while the hair is damp and they either "air dry" or blow dry with a diffuser. Some add serum after or before letting it dry... but you can do both to create a shiny healthier look. I go with "air dry" because my hair is normally dry.

You can use rollers if you want enhance your waves, this can work with heat or without.... but if you going to use somethin with heat I would suggest to use any styling products that is made for heat to prevent from damaging your hair if you were to go straight or not.

I think it would look prettier if you could ask your hairdressor to layer it more and slim down the look... and if they cut it right, it would be alot easier to style.

I use to love the straight look but it is very time-consuming for our type of hair... so it is easier to work with what you have. I only use the straightener to fix my bangs.... but you can do whatever you want. Good luck!

How do you curl layered hair?

I want to have loose curls but I have a problem with curling it to make it look like that.

I usually straighten my hair daily and my hair getting dry, smells funny. What can I use to protect my hair from the heat?

How do you curl layered hair?

Try hot rollers! They will give you those big, loose curls you are looking for, and they use a wet heat which is better for your hair than an iron. You won't see as much damage.

How do you curl layered hair?

use a big barraled curling iron to get loose curls. and aussie has a hair product thats called heat protector + leave in conditioner. it works great. Good Luck hun!

How do you curl layered hair?

I use curl protector spray - pretty much the same as the stuff you use with straighteners, but it's in spray form. Once I've put the curls in, I give them another spritz with the curl protector spray and then a quick blip with strong hold hair spray xx

How do you curl layered hair?

the smell is probably your hair burning,

at hair salons, they sell products to protect your hair

go there and ask for something

example: i always go to regis (hair salon) and tell them my

problem and they give me something

you can also explain your curl problem, you can phone also

google search it, they probably have advice somewhere,

i have no help on curling, i suck

Do blunt cuts go better with layered hair or a straight cut?

Do you think blunt bangs look better with layered hair or a straight cut cause im thinking of getting blunt bangs. I have a staight cut now but im a little worried the staright cut of the bang and the stright cut of my hair will be to much... so would having layered hair and blunt bangs look better?

Do blunt cuts go better with layered hair or a straight cut?

Well, I think with layered hair you might get a more sassy affect fom the blunt bangs....a blunt cu with blunt bangs is also a cute solution.honestly i don't think you can go wrong. remember layers are harder to handle...so as far as upkeep a blunt cut would be more managble.

Does anyone have any really good pictures of the hairstyle with like the swept to one side bangs&

Hmm... I'll look for pictures, but for now I'll just have to tell you.

I'll tell you what I had that I absolutely loved.

My hair is waist length and really thin, so I didn't do much.

But I had straight bangs to my eyelashes. I had layers down the front sides. They started a couple inches below my chin and I would make them curl under. It almost always looked amazing. You could just get a few long layers in the back for body.

I'll see if I can find pictures.

Do I have to blow dry my long layered hair?

I just got my hair cut today and I went from my hair being all one length to having long layers. At the salon I got my hair blow dried but I don't have one at home right now and a lot of mornings I don't have time for all that. Do I have to blow dry it or will my hair look okay without it? I tried to find some websites that show different ways to style layered hair but I couldnt find anything. Thanks for reading

Do I have to blow dry my long layered hair?

no, it is better not to if you have the rime to let it dry

Do I have to blow dry my long layered hair?

One great way to show off your layers without blow drying is pulling it back half up, half down. It layers your face and it's very pretty.

Do I have to blow dry my long layered hair?

it all depends on the type of hair u have. if uve been fine with not blow drying ur hair then u probably r gonna b ok with not blow drying ur layerd hair unless u just want that extra oomp one day =]

Do I have to blow dry my long layered hair?

I wouldnt see why you should have to blow dry it..let it air dry..dont believe it would make a difference.

Do I have to blow dry my long layered hair?

Well, I used to have layered hair (for a really long time- ever since 4th grade and I cut it off to straight this spring (6th grade, so that's 2 years now)) and I think blow drying it will be good for you.

1. You can't do much with a towel- it's not good to rub your hair after a shower- your hair is delicate

2. It's just way faster and without it, you would spend hours on your hair.

If you use a hair dryer, then do the following steps...

*Use a wide-spaced finger comb or a brush with holes in it (the hair dryer may come with it but if not, get a brush with space in it so that the hair-dryer air can go through it while you're brushing)

*Do not use a brush that has very little holes between the fingers- it will damage your hair

*Go to pantene.com for more info- check out the dealing with straight hair section. (I'm assuming that you have straight hair- straight hair is better for layers) I don't have much time here, but I hope this helps.

Do I have to blow dry my long layered hair?

no, it's much better not too. i should know i have layered hair too...

i got this and it looks really cute

What could i do with my layered hair?

I have medium length hair which is really layered. I can't do much with it because my hair's just a little too short and the layers sometimes stick out in the odd place.

Got any ideas of what styles i could do my hair in for casual outgoings?

What could i do with my layered hair?

Mine is the same way. I pull it back in a half-pony, only I just pull back a strip of hair about an inch wide from right in the middle, pull it back and clip it with some cute little clip. Sometimes I do little pigtails. With longer hair, it looks childish, but with hair like ours it just looks cute! But do the pigtails right below the ears, not above. We're not Pippi Longstocking!

Also, just wearing it down, your hair can look entirely different depending on what's in it. Cute little clips, or a hat! I have a black hat with a rhinestone skull on the side. It's not like a baseball cap or anything, it's more femenine. I wear it slightly sideways with the bill down over one eye (but not far enough to impair my vision) and it covrs bad hair days so easily! And looks good with almost anything!!

What could i do with my layered hair?

This might look ok,

get the top layer of your hair and tie it up so you have a top pony, and leave the rest down.by the way i wish i had hair the way you dicribed it.

What could i do with my layered hair?

Make two teensy weensy low pigtails and the layered parts that dont fit in, just leave hanging. So cute! Or take the front part, twist it, and bobypin it to the top of your scalp. Or make it really curly or use a flat iron and make it all straight but the bottom flips in or out. Good Luck!

What could i do with my layered hair?

I kinda have that problem too...but i love doing ponytails with a side fringe for a casual look. All the short pieces of hair can be controleld by bobby pins but i also love having them drape out so it doesnt look as sleek and posh. A side fringe will defnitely help adding the 'just got out of bed' ponytail

What could i do with my layered hair?

punk ur hair%26lt;oni at da upper side%26gt;take left part of hair 2 right o exchange position.

o tie half ponytail high up, n tie da rest at middle length

What could i do with my layered hair?

if it sticks out and wont go the right way use styling wax and hav it down or hav a sid pony with the short layers hangin out!

What could i do with my layered hair?

Get a small rounded brush with boar bristles. Use your blow drier and dry your hair after you get out of the shower. Take the brush and turn it the way that you want your hair to go and make sure your hair gets completely dry.

If you do this you can flip your hair up or turn it under and you won't have the odd fly-aways.

It also keeps you from having to use a straightening iron or hair spray.

If you do it properly you can go the whole day with your hair staying where you blow dried it to.

You'll probably need the 1/2 inch to 1 inch rounded brush.

What could i do with my layered hair?

Hi hun,

Layered hair styles can be difficult to care for because as layers grow out, the style becomes more ragged. Medium layered hair styles are generally good for as long as eight weeks without a trim, but the greater number of layers you use, the more frequently you may want to get a quick trim to keep the style looking great. Using conditioner regularly can help keep the different layers manageable and will also help prevent split ends and other unsightly damage. When styling medium layers, use a small amount of volumizing product to separate layers and add more distinction to the style, and a small amount of spray may be necessary to keep each layer in its place. Take care not to style your hair too heavily, however: very stiff layers are obvious and less attractive than the natural flip and flow of hair.

The greatest asset of a medium length layered style is its versatility. While it鈥檚 short enough for many different looks and swift care, it鈥檚 still long enough to be twisted into elegant updos and other formal styles. Medium styles can easily be jazzed up with a variety of accessories, or for a more permanent detail, add highlights or colored tips to accentuate different layers.

Unfortunately, despite their wide range of possibilities and styles, medium layered hair styles are also one of the most difficult to change after they鈥檝e been cut. Unless you are willing to let the layers grow out for a long time, it may be necessary to switch to very short styles if you decide layers aren鈥檛 for you. Adding hair extensions is another option to help layers grow out 鈥?the extensions will disguise the different lengths in the style while they have a chance to even out.

Hope that helps hun.

How do I go about styling my layered hair?

I have naturally curly hair and I use a straight iron to style it. But when I use it my hair never looks layered, it doesn't give it that dimension (the flat iron I mean). I also love how my hair looks after my stylist has blow dried it straight. But I can never get that look at home. I especially have blow drying it straight behind my head.

So, how can I style my hair to accentuate the layers in it, and is there an easy way to blow dry it straight?

How do I go about styling my layered hair?

When you blowdry your hair, make sure that the blowdrier is pointed at the floor instead of directly at your hair, so it flattens your hair cuticles instead of ruffling them up, giving you a sleeker finish. Also, try ironing each layer individually--start with the layers close to your neck and work your way to the layers on top. This probably won't take much longer to do, and you'll get more of the layered look you want.

Hope this helps!

What are some good hairstyles for sholder length layered hair?

I like wearing my hair down, but it doesn't matter. I always just wear it down and straight? Boring? How to spice it up....?

What are some good hairstyles for sholder length layered hair?

I like my hair down too. what i do sometimes is straitin it then pin a little umphh on top but leave my side bangs down instead of putting them in the umphh like most people ( i alway get complements on my hair)

You could use a flat iron to flip your ends up.

I got my hair cut and I asked for layered hair but I got Choppy layers,How can I style it and feel p

I got a hair cut and I wanted a nice cascading layered look instead I got a Choppy layered look. I want to feel confident since a big reason I got a haircut was to feel better about myself. I have Side swiped bangs but they are long enough to go in my ponytail.

Any advice would be helpful. Thanks!

Good luck.

I got my hair cut and I asked for layered hair but I got Choppy layers,How can I style it and feel pretty?

well you know what you should do to get rid off the chopyness. is take one lay and cut up with scicors like directly up and it gets rid of them but make sure you dont use just regular scissors it really easy to mess up and cut too much hair..

I got my hair cut and I asked for layered hair but I got Choppy layers,How can I style it and feel pretty?

u can make a ponytail n gv some wax or pomade to the ends so it'll looks spiky,or twist ur hair up n spike the ends with wax..

Texturizing wax for layered hair?

I recently got my hair layered and bought texturizing wax from Garnier to make my layers show, look more choppy like on the commercial. IDK how to use it right though.. When I do it just makes the ends look oily. Does anyone now the proper way to apply the product?

Texturizing wax for layered hair?

i dont but read the directions and if it doesnt work try getting a new one from a different company.

How to get rid of layered hair?

My hair used to be longer and thicker, but then my mom made me get my hair layered, so now my overall hair shape looks a lot thinner. I want it to grow thicker again. Will it continue growing in a thin style forever, or will it grow back thicker? And also is there anything i could do to make my hair grow faster?

How to get rid of layered hair?

it'll grow back to the way it was before

How to get rid of layered hair?

The layers will grow out and your hair will become thicker when the layers grow out. Just don't get it cut for awhile until the layers are grown out or just get it trimmed. Try horse shampoo for thicker hair and to make it grow faster. As strange as it may sound , my husband suggested I use it on my daughter's hair and it really worked. Also, eating alot of protein will not only make your hair grow, but your nails also.

How to get rid of layered hair?

It'll grow back but never layer again and keep cutting in one length

How to get rid of layered hair?

There is no single product that grows hair because everyone hair has its own natural growth pattern. There is no wey to get rid of layers. The only think you can do is let them grow out and then cut your hair even once the last layer is at shoulder length. In order to keep your hair health you should shampoo and condition your hair. Condition is the key a good one such as Paul Mitchell or Nexus

How to get rid of layered hair?

I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM BECAUSE I CUT MY HAIR REALLY SHORT WITH THE SHAVE IN THE BACK. MY HAIR STARTING GROWING ONCE I STARTED GETTING CONDITIONERS THAT RELATED TO MY HAIR PROBLEMS, LIKE MORE MOISTURIZER OR BODY. I WOULD GET SOME DEEP CONDITIONER SOMETHING THAT WILL HELP PROTECT YOUR HAIR FROM HEAT AND EVERYTHING ELSE. I HOPE THIS HELPS.

How to get rid of layered hair?

hair has a limit to how long it grows. so if you want to wait it out, then it will even eventually. or you can cut it one length again, but itll be short...

How to get rid of layered hair?

Let it grow keep getting ends trimmed

Does long straight hair look good layered?
