Layered hair hard to style?

I am getting my hair cut this weekend and I am thinking about going for layers. I have medium, shoulder length hair with bangs that I also color. I have a round face. My problem is I don't have a lot of time or energy to put into styling my hair in the morning. I was wondering if it was a lot of work to style layered hair and if it required a lot of upkeep.

Anyone out there with short to medium layered haircuts have any advice for me?

i just wash it, put in some mousse, tease a little and go. you could scrunch it, flat iron it, but it in a pony tail, all wont take long

you know what, Ive found I have to do almost less work to my layered hair. Yes there are styles that you can do that DO take time.

But if you just get out of the shower, towel dry and throw some mouse or a light spray in it, it comes out very nice, plus gives you some body because of the layers.

If you WANT to spend more time you can obviously dry with a round brush and blow dryer, you could curl the ends out or in, you could straighten it....

But in all reality it can take less then 5 minutes.

If you dont have curly or frizzy hair, you should be good to go. Wash, put a little product of your choice in and dry or air dry and go. If you have more time you can use a round brush to add some body while drying.
