The layers start at my bangs and go down, and i really need answers.

That's easy -- put what you can in a ponytail and then clip up the rest with barrettes like these: http://mp.hairboutique.com/product.asp?P...

You can buy them at any drug store or accessory store like Claire's.

bobby pins and hair spray works wonders to clip up any loose peices of hair::)

Try using gel to control the layers, then get a friend to french braid your hair (in two braids is cute).

Or go to a hair salon and get them to do something for you. It would, of course, cost money, but it may be worth it. You want to look great (and appropriate) for the tryouts!

Good luck.

get as much of your hair as you can into a ponytail than use bobbypins to get the loose ends up. Than use a thinkck stretchy head band to keep everything in place, make sure you have everything good and tight so nothing fall out during your tryouts. you might even try susing gel or hairspray if you want to be sure

bobby pins!! :)

Pull your hair back in a ponytail, and then use barrettes to secure the hair that won't reach the hair tie.

More importantly, smile, be enthusiastic, and don't say "Woooo!!"- you have to say words (like, "Go Tigers! We're number one!"). I messed up on that back when I was in Junior High :-)

Gel, bobby pins, hairspray! Get as much as you can in a pony tail rubberband, then pin the rest up. Then spray and gel like mad. Get a girlfriend or your mom to help - you'll probably need more hands! Also, hang your head upside-down when you are doing your hair; it will help you get the hair into the ponytail. Good luck! I hope you make the squad!!!

I'd put my hair up in a half pony, first, and then put it all up in a pony or bun. Use bobby pins or one of those no-slip headbands to keep your bangs back.

I also have VERY short layers, which i tease most of the time.

Try Wearing Bobby Pins, Hairspray And A wrap Around Head band.

use lots of hair spray.

you should use bobby pins and clips and hairspray. chi hairspray doesn't make your hair sticky but it hold things verry well.

your not really aloud to use bobby pins either.. sorry to make you listen to this but my cheerleading coach makes us goop our hair with gel to hold it all... it reeeally sucks.. or you can use a hair tie to hold all of whats on top of your head, and connect that ponytail to another ponytail holdingthe rest of your hair..

i hope you understand that, it sounds kinda wierd
