I have a long face and long , layered brunnete hair. I am thinking about cutting it short and adding bangs but my mother says I would look a mess....I need adivce :)

I like it, thats how I have my hair and it actually is very sophisticated.. my mom always wanted me to have long hair to and she got mad when i cut it... but its your hair do what you want it will grow back its hair..

It might look good. I have long blond hair and I have thought about doing that with my hair so I kinda messed around with it to see if I wanted to do it. I decided not to though because I love how long my hair is and me having bangs really made me look a lot younger than I am. Sorry that I can't help much. I hope what every you chose turns out.

I recently got my hair cut with side swept bangs and I hate them after having my hair pretty much one lenght I am not enjoying having bangs in my face.
