I'm an asian with thick, layered hair, that's naturally straight. How can I prevent my hair from getting wavy after washing it, other than straightening it? I'm not allowed to straighten my hair because my mom says it'll dry out my hair.
Is there any other way to I can get it straight without using a flat iron?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
I just got my hair cut in a layered style, but every time I wash my hair, it gets wavy, how can I prevent this
try using a straightening balm while it is towel dried - then blow-dry in small sections - use a paddle brush to smooth down as you blow dry - apply serum afterward to avoid fly-aways

If you have naturally wavy hair, the only way to get it truly straight is to flat iron it. However, you can also try usiing straightening products to relax the waves... Sleek Look by Matrix is a good line. I would use the shamp/cond and their straightening balm.

Use gel or mousse, use a big round brush on sectioned hair and blow dry.
Don't use an iron it will flatten your hair and you won't have any body to it.
