Do I have to blow dry my long layered hair?

I just got my hair cut today and I went from my hair being all one length to having long layers. At the salon I got my hair blow dried but I don't have one at home right now and a lot of mornings I don't have time for all that. Do I have to blow dry it or will my hair look okay without it? I tried to find some websites that show different ways to style layered hair but I couldnt find anything. Thanks for reading

Well, I used to have layered hair (for a really long time- ever since 4th grade and I cut it off to straight this spring (6th grade, so that's 2 years now)) and I think blow drying it will be good for you.

1. You can't do much with a towel- it's not good to rub your hair after a shower- your hair is delicate

2. It's just way faster and without it, you would spend hours on your hair.

If you use a hair dryer, then do the following steps...

*Use a wide-spaced finger comb or a brush with holes in it (the hair dryer may come with it but if not, get a brush with space in it so that the hair-dryer air can go through it while you're brushing)

*Do not use a brush that has very little holes between the fingers- it will damage your hair

*Go to pantene.com for more info- check out the dealing with straight hair section. (I'm assuming that you have straight hair- straight hair is better for layers) I don't have much time here, but I hope this helps.
