How to take care of layered hair?

I have long hair and I cut them layered and it was really nice at begining. After 1day I washed them and blow-dryed it. My hair look not really nice anymore. How do I take care of them, so they going to be nice.

Try not to do both blow drying and straightening. Choose one or the other. What I do is take a shower at night and put my hair in braids which keeps the split ends in and makes them less noticable in the morning. If you really feel the need to blow dry, invest in an ionic blow dryer. The ions for the blow dryer lock in mosture, making it less damaging to your hair.

haha that happened to me =] it looks good at the begining but now its not-so-good haha =] well um cause its layered...if yorue gonan striaghten it straighten a little bit at a time...and always wsh and condition =]

Ok, first get conditioner. Then bend over and put it on all the hair,inside and out, especially where you can't comb it. It should untangle.

If I were you, I would just go to a salon and get it done. For a trim, it shouldn't cost more then $15.

i blow dry my hair, put in some hair serum and curl it (starting at the nape of my neck) with a ceramic 1" curing iron. I do like 3-4" wide sections and not too thick.. but not like really thin pieces... and pull down lawyers of hair as i go..and for the l;ayers more towards the top i pull the hair straight up or out from my head to curl... i dont pull the hair downward.. they seem to get flat if i do this.... and i dont pu anything in it after that

I think if you have brown hair get blonde highlights. if you have blonde hair get light blonde highlights or brown lowlights. i think get it really thin!
